Recording Studio

A music recording and rehearsal studio in an industrial building complex located in the neighborhood of Lai Chi Kok, Hong Kong.

Acoustics play a big part of material selection for this project. We use basic sustainable materials like cork panels and fabric curtains on walls, felt paneling on ceiling, and jute rug to help control reverberation and sound absorption. Track lighting provides flexibility for special occasions and spatial adjustments. A beautiful shade of green compliments the natural cork and jute rug within. This sunless high-ceilinged studio space has been transformed into a creative retreat with excellent acoustics and energetic yet calming vibes.
